Aistech cubesat constellation operator counts on summer launch on India’s PSLV to trigger funding round

PARIS — Aistech Space of Spain plans to undertake a key financing round this summer to pursue construction of its 100-satellite cubesat constellation featuring a triple payload — ADS-B aircraft tracking, narrowband IoT communications and — perhaps most surprisingly given its satellites’ size — a multispectral imager.

To trigger the financing round, Aistec is counting on India’s PSLV rocket to launch as scheduled by August. A successful in-orbit checkout of the satellite will then drive the funding round’s valuation.

All this was supposed to have occurred by now . . .
