Yahsat reports 9.4% boost in Q1 revenue, higher backlog and a 45% increase at its Thuraya mobility segment

PARIS — Fixed and mobile satellite fleet operator Yahsat reported increased revenue in all its business segments, with exceptional growth at its Thuraya mobile satellite service division, where a 5x increase in equipment sales drove a 45.45% revenue growth.

United Arab Emirates-based Yahsat also reported a 25% increase in subscribers and a 24% increase in revenue for its YahClic consumer broadband service.
