Without MDA, Maxar has weaker hand in Telesat LEO competition

CALAIS, France — Diversified space systems hardware and services provider Maxar Technologies’ decision to sell the entirety of its MDA division to investment company Northern Private Capital (NPC) will sharply undermine Maxar’s buy-Canada argument in its bid to win the business to build the Telesat LEO constellation of broadband satellites.
