Virgin Orbit employees seek higher-priority status in a bankruptcy proceeding with only $35.8 million to distribute

PARIS — The bankruptcy court handling the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Virgin Orbit, which started as the sale of a business and ended in separate auctions of the company’s assets, now moves into final chapter of determining who gets the auctions’ relatively meager proceeds.

The Delaware Bankruptcy Court on May 31 is all but certain to approve the auction results and the winning bids by Stratolaunch, Launcher Inc. and Rocket Lab USA for a total of $35.8 million: become a subscriber!
