LA PLATA, Maryland — The British government released a detailed Strategic Defence Review (SDR) that clearly stated its ambition of increasing Britain’s defense investment and stimulating private-sector investment but set no clear roadmap for the nation’s military space policy.
Released June 2, the SDR said the UK will “seek partners with which to develop the overhead, persistent ISR [intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance] capability that is needed for effective Integrated Air and Missile Defence in the Euro-Atlantic,” but did not name the European Commission or any European . . .
