Thaicom, Kacific Broadband, ABS, Measat outline their defenses against global GEO/MEO/LEO fleet operators

PARIS — East Asian satellite operators said they plan to hunker down in their regions and mount a defense against the coming global GEO and non-GEO fleet operators by owning their local markets, using regulations to their advantage and waiting for the global players — SpaceX Starlink, OneWeb, SES, Amazon Kuiper, Telesat Lightspeed — to exhaust themselves.

At that point, negotiations could begin on win-win partnerships.
