Speedcast, Intelsat agree on 15-month contract, pending their bankruptcy courts’ approval

PARIS — Mobile satellite services provider Speedcast and satellite fleet operator Intelsat, both in the midst of Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, have agreed on a new, 15-month contract proving for fixed monthly payments and a full suite of Intelsat-provided services.

The series include the basic satellite bandwidth provision, with a minimum guaranteed monthly capacity available, as well as teleport uplink, IP terrestrial connectivity and technical support.
