SpaceX: US should vet debris measures for constellations seeking US access

About 7,000 satellites have been launched since the dawn of the space age. If a couple of the mega-constellations now in development are actually built, they will equal that figure in just a few years. Boeing has since lowered the orbit of its proposed constellation to between 970 and 1,082 kilometers after an agreement with OneWeb to assure safe operations.
