Smallsat mission provider Exolaunch, a profitable NewSpace company, enters space-tug market and opens U.S. office

PARIS — Satellite mission management provider Exolaunch of Germany is a profitable NewSpace company expanding into the space-tug business and looking to the United States for future development funding and market expansion.

Berlin-based Exolaunch has arranged the launch of 120 cubesats and 20 larger microsats over 12 missions the past eight years and has a multi-launch agreement with SpaceX for Falcon 9 rocket rideshare launches.

The company, self-funded up to now, says it has been cash-flow positive for several years but . . .
