Smallsat builder GomSpace: Revenue up, profit down sharply as non-recurring engineering charges accumulate

PARIS — Merchant small satellite and components manufacturer GomSpace of Denmark and Sweden reported higher revenue but sharply lower profit for the three months ending June 30, saying work on a commercial project was costing more than expected.

GomSpace did not name the customer, but the company has said its contract with OHB SE of Germany as part of the Hera three-satellite asteroid mission to inspect the crater on an asteroid left by NASA's Dart planetary defense test. GomSpace is providing one of the two cubesats . . .
