Small-satellite builder GomSpace confirms growth forecast, says New Space needs to be more profitable

PARIS — Merchant small satellite manufacturer GomSpace said it remains on track for a 30% increase in revenue in 2022 and is using proceeds from a new shareholder, Peter Hargreaves, to invest in satellite platform standardization.

Niels Buus, chief executive of Sweden- and Denmark-based GomSpace, said the goal is “to double the standard product content in our deliveries.”

“We are among the few New Space companies generating positive cash flow from operations for two consecutive years,” Buus said in a May 2 statement to shareholders . . .
