SES: There’s no friction with Intelsat on C-band proposal; few renewals means video to stabilize in 2019-2020

PARIS — Satellite fleet operator SES said there is no latent friction between itself and the other members of the C-Band Alliance (CBA) that might cause one or more of them to reject a U.S. regulatory proposal to clear C-band that the others would favor.

The company also said the sharp decline in its video business, which still accounts for nearly two-thirds of its revenue, will moderate in the coming months in part because there are almost no large vide contracts coming up for renewal.
