PARIS— Satellite fleet operator SES said a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by competitor Intelsat before a May 29 U.S. regulatory deadline would be unlikely to alter the two companies’ shared interest in doing what’s needed to collect on a multibillion-dollar payout.
