LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite and rocket hardware builder Rocket Lab said it is bidding on several government and commercial satellite constellation contracts for which it would be prime contractor, taking advantage of the in-house component business it has built up in recent years.
Whether these customers also would use Rocket Lab’s new Neutron medium-lift rocket, scheduled to make its inaugural flight late this year, is uncertain.
