Regional satellite operators with U.S. coverage want their share of any C-Band Coalition windfall

JAKARTA, Indonesia — The C-Band Coalition of four satellite fleet operators with C-band capacity serving the United States — Intelsat, SES, Eutelsat and Telesat — may need to make room for ABS, JSat and several Latin American satellite operators as well.

These additional operators appear to be preparing to make their case to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that they have invested heavily in C-band in North America even if their current market shares do not reflect that.
