Polish military buys 2 high-res optical reconnaissance satellites from Airbus in $612M contract

LA PLATA, Maryland — The Polish Defense Ministry has purchased two 30-cm-resolution Pleiades Neo optical reconnaissance satellites from Airbus Defence and Space in a 575-million-euro ($612 million) deal brokered by the French Defense Ministry and signed on Dec. 27 by Airbus and the Polish Armament Agency.
