Maxar CEO Lance resigns after 32 months in office; DigitalGlobe chief Daniel Jablonsky named as replacement

PARIS — Maxar Technologies, owner of geospatial information provider DigitalGobe and satellite builder SSL, on Jan 14 said Chief Executive Howard L. Lance had resigned after less than three years in office and that Daniel Jablonsky, president of DigitalGlobe, would become president and CEO.

The decision comes as Maxar’s stock is being massacred on the New York Stock Exchange following the loss of DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-4 satellite well before its retirement date and Maxar’s struggle to reposition itself to win U.S. government work and smallsat constellation business as it moves . . .
