Maritime monitoring company SRT Marine enters satellite fleet ownership with Clyde Space contract

ADELAIDE, Australia — Maritime monitoring and surveillance hardware and services provider SRT Marine Systems plc, already a manufacturer of Automatic Identification System (AIS) transceivers, is entering the satellite fleet business with an initial contract with Scotland’s Clyde Space.

Bath, England-based SRT had previously told investors it was weighing an entry into the satellite business to offer customers a full-service AIS package.
