Kratos sees HTS GEO satellite spot beams, and multiplies by 10 for LEO smallsat market

PARIS — Kratos Defense and Security Solutions said the increased use of very small satellites for government and commercial applications means more network intelligence will be put on the ground, where Kratos awaits.

Most of Kratos’s business is with government customers, and its showcase satellite contracts are with the big U.S. military systems — Wideband Global Satcom (WGS), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) and the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS).
