LA PLATA, Maryland — Startup launch-service provider Isar Aerospace and diversified space system contractor Leonardo outlined how European governments should revamp their space hardware contracting procedures and said a “crisis” in telecommunications satellites is not a crisis in the rest of the space value chain.
Addressing the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) May 13, Isar Aerospace focused on what the European Commission could do to foster a vibrant space services market, which would help Europe’s startup launchers flourish.
