IoT constellation startup Sateliot: We’ll partner with MNOs to connect unmodified user 5G devices to our satellites

UPDATE Feb. 2: Spanish satellite IoT constellation startup Sateliot has closed a funding round valued at 6.5 million euros ($7.3 million) with strategic investments from Spanish information systems and defense technology company Indra and wireless infrastructure and services provider Cellnex.

The two companies are expected to supplement this funding with a further 3.5 million euros in February 2023. Sateliot said in a Feb. 2 announcement that the completion of the second tranche will bring Indra's shareholding to 10.5%, with Cellnex having about 3.5% of Sateliot's . . .
