International Space Station commercialization: Still small, but a definite upward trend

PARIS — The U.S. National Laboratory aboard the International Space Station (ISS) reported a 9.6% increase in revenue and other funding sources in fiscal-year 2018 compared to the previous year and a 69% increase in net assets.

The results suggest that commercialization of the ISS, which NASA is counting on to be able to focus on a cislunar Space Gateway starting in  2025, remains modest but is growing.
