Intelsat buys Gogo Commercial Aviation in-flight-connectivity business, must look Ka-band in the eye

PARIS — In-flight-connectivity provider Gogo Inc. agreed to sell its Commercial Aviation division to Intelsat, a large supplier of Gogo satellite capacity, for $400 million in cash following the transaction’s approval of by Intelsat’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy court.
