In China, $1.42 billion in NewSpace commercial space financings by 200 venture-capital investors since 2015

LUXEMBOURG — Some 200 Chinese venture-capital companies have funded more than 150 Chinese New Space startups that run the gamut from launch-service providers, satellite builders, geospatial-imagery and data sales companies, according to the China Space Foundation and VC FutureAerospace.

As is the case in the United States, China’s NewSpace sector has climbed a wall of worry that it’s in a bubble that will end badly for many of these companies and their backers.
