GomSpace maintains 2020 revenue target, clears books of aero/maritime vessel-tracking affiliate

PARIS — Merchant small-satellite systems provider GomSpace maintained its forecast of a 26% increase in revenue for 2020, thanks mainly to the fact that government business has made up the slack in commercial orders.

That same government business, led by the 22-nation European Space Agency (ESA), which is GomSpace’s biggest customer, has insulated the company from the Covid-19 pandemic. ESA accounted for 29% of GomSpace’s revenue for the first six months of 2020.
