Globalstar: Ground network upgrade preparing for 3rd-gen D2d constellation; Parsons contract a breakthrough

TUPPER LAKE, NY — Mobile satellite service and hardware provider Globalstar Inc. reported a 4.4% growth in commercial-IoT subscribers in the six months ending June 30, 2025, to 528,869, and said it had begun a major expansion of its global ground infrastructure to prepare for its Extended-MSS direct-to-device (D2D) constellation, named  C-3.

The expansion will include some 90 new antennas to be installed at 35 ground stations in 25 nations. The first of these, a 6-meter tracking antenna, has been installed at the company . . .
