German government sends proposed 2024 budget to parliament with multiple reductions in planned space spending

TUPPER LAKE, NY — The German government Cabinet’s proposed 2024 budget includes an overall reduction in spending that includes cuts in Germany’s national space program and its investment in the 22-nation European Space Agency (ESA).

The budget is to be decided later this year by the Bundestag, or Parliament. Some modifications are possible during the Bundestag debate . . .
