PARIS — Prospective buyers of OneWeb’s Ku- and Ka-band radio spectrum licenses are being asked to decide in short order what they’re willing to bid for the assets. But what is it exactly that’s being put up for sale?

Any bidder will want to perform due diligence into what the spectrum rights cover, the obligations attached to them and the timing and amount of capex needed to full the requirements.

Radio spectrum rights are conferred to nations, not companies. Each company registers with its government telecommunications . . .
