APT Mobile’s global broadband plans slowed by orbital slot access issues

SINGAPORE — APT Satellite Holdings' plans with China for a global mobile communications constellation of three or four high-throughput satellites has been slowed because of a lack of easy access to orbital slots beyond the first satellite, APT Satellite Executive Vice President Huang Baozhong said.
