After 44 unpaid bills, Inmarsat asks Speedcast Chapter 11 court to force company to pay up

PARIS — Surely it’s been galling to mobile satellite services provider Inmarsat to watch customer Speedcast cut a special deal with fleet operator Intelsat for continued payment for Intelsat services during Speedcast’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy: https://bit.ly/2W5eRNH

First there was the Speedcast-Intelsat contract signed just days before Speedcast filed for bankruptcy. More recently Speedcast, with the backing of its secured creditors, has asked for a 15-month extension of the deal.
