LA PLATA, Maryland — Three Canadian startup launch service providers — Maritime Launch Services Ltd. (MLS), Reaction Dynamics and NordSpace — said the government’s first-ever investment in a domestic orbital launch capability, while modest, provides a much-needed signal to investors and customers that Canada is serious about sovereign access to space.
The three companies are in various stages of financing. Reaction Dynamics and NordSpace are developing their own small orbital vehicles starting with suborbital test flights.
